Turn PowerPoint into narrated videos — AI-written scripts, 318 voices, automatic subtitles, one-click export.
From PPT to Video in 6 Steps
| Step | What you do | Details |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Import your PPT | Drop in a .pptx file. Every slide is previewed as it imports, and any notes you already wrote become the starting script. |
| 2 | Write or edit scripts | Each slide has its own script. Write it yourself, or let AI do it in one click. |
| 3 | Pick a voice | 318 voices across 74 languages. Listen before you choose. |
| 4 | Generate the video | One slide or the whole deck, with your PowerPoint transitions kept intact. |
| 5 | Add subtitles (optional) | Generated automatically on your own computer, editable word by word. |
| 6 | Export | One click, MP4 to any folder. |
Let AI Write Your Scripts
- No notes? No problem. AI looks at each slide and writes natural, conversational narration — in the language of your slides.
- Already wrote it? Make it better. Polish one slide or the whole deck. AI keeps your meaning and improves fluency — and you preview the result before saving.
- Use your own AI model. pptalk works with local models like Ollama or any cloud AI service, so your content stays under your control.
318 Voices — Preview Before You Choose
- 318 lifelike voices across 74 languages — Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, German, French, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Hindi, and more
- Browse by language or gender, and listen to any voice before committing
- Save your favorites for one-tap switching
- Adjust volume and speaking speed (0.5×–2.0×) per project
Video Generation That Respects Your Design
- Your transitions and animations stay. Slide transitions, animations, and motion effects are all exported intact, so the video looks exactly the way you designed it.
- Generate one slide to check the result, or the whole deck at once — progress is shown as it happens.
- Preview the full video before exporting.
- Never export stale content — if you edit a script after generating, pptalk marks the video and subtitles as outdated until you regenerate.
- Export MP4 to any folder, with or without burned-in subtitles.
Subtitles, Generated on Your Own Computer
- Subtitles are transcribed locally — no internet connection needed (the ~480 MB model downloads once, on demand).
- Chinese, English, or auto-detect.
- Edit every word and every timestamp in the built-in editor, with optional AI cleanup.
- 4 built-in styles (Classic / Yellow / Cinema / Top), and the text color adapts to your slide background automatically.
Organize Your Work
- Collections — group projects by topic.
- Write back to your PPT — save edited scripts into the speaker notes of the original
.pptxfile with one click. - Stay in sync — if the PPT file changes, pptalk notices and offers a one-click re-import.
- See at a glance which slides still need a script.
Why pptalk
- Private by design — your slides, videos, and subtitles are processed on your machine; only the script text is sent to our speech service to generate the voiceover.
- Always in the loop — import, voiceover, and generation all show live progress, slide by slide.
- Local AI friendly — pair it with Ollama for fully offline AI features.
- Safe exports — scripts, video, and subtitles are tracked together, so you never ship outdated content.
